DUI TREATMENT

DUI Level I Treatment and Education

DUI treatment consist of a minimum of 20 hours group therapy in addition to the mandatory 16 hours DUI Education. (Level II Education)

• Group therapy is held in 1.5 hour weekly sessions
• DUI Education (Level II) is held on two 8.0 hour Saturday and Sunday class sessions

DUI Education is held on two 8.0 hour Saturday and Sunday class sessions

Additional Information

Extreme DUI clients and second offenders and other contributing factors may be assessed additional treatment hours.

Treatment is based on the Hazelden Foundation Drug & Alcohol Education Program.

The classes cover:

• Addicts and addiction
• Your body on alcohol and other drugs
• The disease of addiction and its effects
• Change and relapse prevention
• Beginning the transition to lifelong change and recovery
